The U.S. Department of Labor has predicted that by 2010 there will be more than a 29% increase in the demand for FBI agents, police officers, private detectives, and U.S. Customs agents.

The Criminal Justice degree program at American InterContinental University gives students an understanding of law enforcement principles such as police organization, subculture and legal constraints, along with the basics of crime like typologies, offenders, and their victims.

Classes include criminal justice and juvenile justice processes, criminology, law enforcement, law adjudication and corrections.

Students also learn about law adjudication – prosecution, defense, court procedures, and legal decision-making processes. Graduates of the Criminal Justice degree program will have the skills necessary to launch successful law careers in the following areas:
